The Driver magazine goes online becoming more accessible than ever

Toronto, ON – On March 17th, The Driver is set to release their exclusive inaugural edition of their online magazine on their website thedriver.ca.

The spring edition focuses on the auto show season and is filled with our signature blend of news, reviews and action from around the auto industry. Our cover story features the President and Managing Director of General Motors Canada, Kevin Williams being interviewed by our senior journalist David Taylor. The interview is part of our new series “Executive Driven,” which will feature various executives throughout the industry in a different light. We not only ask about their business plans, objectives and promises, but we get to know the real person behind the suit. Something for everyone - manufacturers and readers alike!

Also featured in the magazine is a look at the once booming city of Detroit. It’s still considered the world’s traditional automotive centre, so what better way to pay homage to the Motor City then take a road trip to the North American International Auto Show in Detroit for its 25th installment.

If you’re in need of more coverage from the auto show season – look no further than Dan Heyman’s auto show round-up of the best vehicles shown in Los Angeles, Detroit and Toronto.

With any addition of The Driver, you will always have your share of car reviews. For the spring edition, our Managing Editor David Miller goes down to Orlando, Florida to test out the new 2014 Honda Civic Coupe. See how it stacks up to its compact car rivals the Hyundai Elantra, Toyota Corolla and Mazda3. In our other test drive, Max Preston test drives the all-new second-generation 2014 Chrysler 300 and comes away impressed with its stronger and more modern image.

2014 is a new beginning for The Driver with their new online magazine and we hope all of you come away with as much enjoyment as we had producing it. We've preserved the same style, insight and feel as the print version making this spring edition a must read.
