2017 Toyota Sienna - Fuel Economy Review + Fill Up Costs

 In this episode, we test out the fuel economy in the all-new 2017 Toyota Sienna. One of the few remaining contenders in its class, the Sienna is a popular choice in the minivan segment offering ample space and comfort in a sporty package.

On a full tank, we were able to get 479km of driving at a fuel economy of 13.2L/100km. Filling the tank back up cost $70.56 for a full tank using standard gasoline at $1.04/liter. Watch the video below.

2017 Toyota Camry - Fuel Economy Review + Fill Up Costs

 In this episode, we test out the fuel economy in the all-new 2016 Toyota Camry. In the hyper-competitive mid-size sedan segment, the Camry is a key player with its powerful, yet efficient engine choices (including a hybrid), generous dimensions and innovative safety features.

Our tester was equipped with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. Our test yielded 267 kilometers on a half tank of gas and gave a decent average fuel economy of 10.8L/100 km.

After using up our tank of gas, we were able to fill it back up for $32.91 at a fuel cost of $1.009/litre

2017 Lincoln MKX - Fuel Economy Review + Fill Up Costs

In this episode, we test out the fuel economy in the all-new 2017 Lincoln MKX. This mid-size luxury crossover is feature-packed with class-leading luxury amenities and state-of-the-art technology that rival its German and Japanese competitors.

Our tester was equipped with a 2.7-litre EcoBoost engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. Our test yielded 140 kms on a half tank of gas and gave an average fuel economy of 16.5 L/100 km.

After using up our tank of gas, we were able to fill it back up for $26.59 for a half tank of gas at a fuel cost of $0.976/litre.

2016 Ford Escape - Fuel Economy Review + Fill Up Costs

In this episode, we test out the fuel economy in the all-new 2016 Ford Escape. In the hyper-competitive compact SUV segment, the Escape is a key player with its powerful, yet efficient engine choices, ample space and innovative technology.

Our tester was equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-scroll EcoBoost engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. Our test yielded 504 kms on a tank of gas and gave a decent average fuel economy of 10.7L/100 km.

2017 Ford Focus - Fuel Economy Review + Fill Up Costs

In this episode, we test out the fuel economy in the all new 2017 Ford Focus. As a breadwinner in the Ford line-up, the Focus compares very well to its Japanese counterparts. Its key advantage is the amount of technology it packs, including the newly updated SYNC 3 infotainment system.

Our tester was equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Our test yielded 319 miles on a tank of gas and gave a decent average fuel economy of 30.6 miles per gallon.

After using up our tank of gas, we were able to fill it back up for $27.76 at a fuel cost of $2.33/gallon.

In this episode, we test out the fuel economy in the all new 2017 Mazda6. Redesigned just in the past 3 years, the Mazda6 has already gone through a mid-cycle refresh featuring a revised front and rear appearance.

Our tester was equipped with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. Our test yielded 336 km on a half tank of gas and gave a decent average fuel economy of 8.3L/100km.

2016 Mazda3 - Fuel Economy Review

In this episode, we test out the fuel economy in the all new 2016 Mazda3. Redesigned just two years back the Mazda3 has traded its cheerful design for a sporty aggressive appearance.

Our tester was equipped with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, which is more powerful and less efficient compared to the base 2.0-liter engine. Our test yielded 274 km on a half tank of gas and gave a decent average fuel economy of 9.9L/100km.

After using up a half tank of gas, we were able to fill it back up for $28.95 at a fuel cost of $1.01/litre. At that rate, expect to spend around $58 for a full tank of gas.

2016 Nissan Murano - Fuel Economy Review

In this episode, we test out the fuel economy in the all new 2016 Nissan Murano. Featuring one of the most dramatic redesigns we've seen in this segment, the Murano certainly stands out from the competition. Although only slightly larger than the cheaper Rogue, the Murano is a premium Nissan offering with more power output from a larger engine. Similar to other Nissans however, the Murano features a similar CVT transmission that yields decent fuel economy numbers.

Our tester was equipped with a 3.5-litre 6-cylinder engine. Our test yielded 671 km on a full tank of gas and gave a fuel economy rating of 10.4L/100km.

After using up a half tank of gas, we were able to fill it back up for $60 at a fuel cost of $0.99/liter.

In this episode, we test out the fuel economy in the all new 2016 Ford Explorer. Sporting a 3.5-litre Ecoboost V6 engine, the Explorer has plenty of power to pull its weight.

Our tester was equipped with a 3.5-litre V6 Ecoboost engine. Our tests yielded 196.8km on a half tank of gas and gave a fuel economy of 16.2L/100km.

In this episode, we test out the fuel economy in the all new 2016 Jeep Renegade. Sporting a compact form factor, and a rugged four wheel drivetrain, the Renegade seems to be in a category of its own.

Our tester was equipped with a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder engine. Our tests yielded 211km on a half tank of gas and gave a decent average fuel economy of 10.8L/100km.

After using up a half tank of gas, we were able to fill it back up for $24.87 at a fuel cost of $1.02/liter. At that rate, expect to spend around $50 for a full tank of gas.
